KNOW THIS:

  1. An email list gives you greater financial success, business stability, independence from platform changes, and more meaningful customer relationships.

  2. Email marketing typically has higher conversion rates than social media marketing. Email conversion rates are around 8%, while social media are around 3%.

  3. Building and nurturing an email list is more important than focusing on social media followers. Unlike social, (aka "rented land,") an email list is an asset you own and control. The limitations of social media (think algorithm changes and platform outages… booo) can hinder business communication and revenue generation.

  4. Growing an email list requires time, effort, and a strategic approach. But once the foundation is set, it’s way easier to maintain and can yield significant results.

  5. While social media is valuable for brand-building and audience engagement, its primary role should be to funnel users into the email list, where those deeper connections and sales live.
